Welcome to Gift Of Hands

Gift of Hands, in Mulranny Co Mayo in Ireland is a volunteer group making functional items crafted from textiles, wool and other recycled materials.   The Gift of Hands group work out of Tiernaur Hall near Mulranny, Co. Mayo, where they make accessories to wear, items for the table, the wall and the floor. Woven rugs can be found in a mix of colours and our famous goat puppets are always being created with one of a kind fabulous shoes.

A selection of the products can be found in Westport at The Craft House on James Street, at Lunasa Gift shop in Belmullet and during the summer months (June - September) at the Mulranny Environmental Centre on the main road 1 km from the village on the road to Newport (look for the road sign).

Gift of Hands products are carefully made, inspired by a strong artistic sense for visually appealing one of a kind items. Proceeds all go to support other volunteer groups working hard to make Mulranny a better place to live, work and visit.
In past years money has been donated to the Environmental Centre, the Old Irish Goat Society, the Mulranny Mens Shed project, the Mulranny volunteer tourist office and a gift for Mulranny School.  Public mosaics were  made and installed for the Mulranny community via the Tidy Towns initiative.  A large textile installation was donated to St Brendan's Nursing Home.
The ability to seed fund projects in the village is vital to growth and initiative and Gift of Hands is pleased to be able to provide this service to projects in the Mulranny community.
This is done through regular meetings where things are made and special events held throughout the year.

Meetings are held at Tiernaur Hall off the N59 between nNwport and Mulranny. Take the turn to the Killeeen Cemetery.
